It's not that the objective is at the end of the map - that's pretty standard.

I know that you're intentionally twisting what I said, but I'll reiterate my problem with it.

And if you find it "dark" maybe you need to set your gamma higher. You're right, I've never before heard of such a thing and there can be no question that this makes it the worst zone in the history of gaming.Īre you nuts? Not only is Nar Shaddaa gorgeous to look at, but I find it to be one of the fastest leveling experiences in the game. Quest objectives at the end of the map, having to run and kill on the way. It's funny because most people say everything is too massive LOL. I've yet to see a clausterphobic element in this game. I make a truck load of credits everytime I run a character through this planet. And if you gather at all, there is tons to gather on your way from point A to point B. You've got taxi service to every point you need to go to, and there is less running on foot then in Taris, so I really don't see what you are so upset about.

Better then Taris which is a maze of wreckage to try to move around and bypass everywhere. I just ran my fourth character through Nar Shaddaa. I'm hoping at the very least, Bioware puts more minor missions in each section so you have more to do than run and gun from one end of the corridor to the other. It's a bit tragic, because the planet itself is quite beautifully rendered, if a little bit too dark.įortunately, with the right balance of Space battles, PvP and Heroics in previous zones, you can skip a lot of Nar Shadaa and move on to somewhere more interesting. To make it worse, you usually visit the zone before getting your Speeder, so must travel around on foot, and there is usually nothing to do on the way to your objective except kill random mobs. The quests are in all four corners of the main map, and when you travel to each corner, the mission objectives are invariably at the end of the section with long, winding claustrophobic corridors in between, and mostly unavoidable trash. As much as I am enjoying this game, Nar Shaddaa nearly broke my spirit, it has probably the worst level design in any MMO I have played.
